Built in 1602 on the orders of Venetian governor Antonio Grimaldi, it is the first monument you see when entering the old town at the main entrance. The tower has four storeys and a basement. The tower was created from massive stone blocks taken from the rocks of Mount Lovćen. The clock was added in 1810. And if you look closely, it leans like the one in Pisa, a tilt due to the 1979 earthquake.

Juste après l'entrée de la ville sur la grande place une très belle horloge au sommet d'une tour de pierre. Elle est impressionnante et a beaucoup de charme. Impossible de la rater !

Bel édifice que cette tour-horloge que l'on ne peut pas louper dès que l'on rentre à l'intérieur du vieux Kotor, sur la place centrale, une fois les remparts franchis. Penche en effet légèrement ! Ville sympathique à découvrir, notamment ses églises et ses remparts. Dommage que l'afflux de touristes gâche un peu le romantisme des lieux

On this square you have the impression to make you feel in Venice. This square with its terraces seems to be the ticket me as you given but the setting is very beautiful. Do not forget to watch en' air and see the mountain and its citadel
