This quiet town is the main locality of the region along with Bahía Solano. Beautiful beaches are scattered around to the north and south. This is where most travelers prefer to stay, as the options of lodges and family-run posadas are more pleasant than in the "urban zone. The arrival in Nuquí is surprising, from the jungle emerges this isolated village that can be reached only by boat or airplane. The region is known for whale watching from July to October, and for diving, fishing and surfing. There are also beautiful hikes to do in the forest.
