In all, there are 23 downhill ski runs, a huge toboggan run over 1.8 km long and a Freestyle Park. Not to mention 230 km of cross-country ski trails (34 km of which are illuminated). There are plenty of surprises in store at Saariselkä ski resort! Plus: the toboggan run, the longest in the country, is lit up at night! Ski school with 90-minute lessons for children and adults. In summer: bike rental and slopes.

Open daily from late November to early May, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Day pass at €47.50 per adult and €32.50 per child.

Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort is the northernmost Ski Resort in Europe.
It´s runs on two fells, Iisakkipää and Kaunispää offer multiple choices for skiers and boarders of all levels from beginners to advanced .
Saariselkä is located directly to one of the largest National parks of Finland, Urho Kekkonen National Park offering fabulous hiking and outdoor possibilites. Saariselkä is easy to reach by airplane, bus of car along the E4 main road (E75). Ivalo international airport is 20 minutes away from Saariselkä.

Excellentes pistes malgré l'apparition en fin de journée de bosses au centre.
Forfait avec prêt de la luge et casque ( fortement conseillé) à 39 euros ( pour 2 heures) et 10 euros de plus si vous n'avez pas de lunettes de ski.
L'accueil est sympathique.
Seul bémol : il ne vous informe pas de l'offre avec votre pass qui vous donne droit à une boisson chaude gratuite dans le restaurant en bas des pistes ...qui est fortement appréciable après 5 tours de luge à fond !!
There is international staff working so everybody speaks English. The service is amazing and prices are really fair.
Beginners lesson is great and you get enough personal attention even though you are in a group. Overall we had a wonderful first Skiing experience thanks to the lovely staff!
! If you are going to visit, don't forget to try the Aurora Tobogganing, it's really fun !

Le vendredi cela ferme à 20h ce qui est super pour faire du ski avec le coucher de soleil
