In all, there are 23 downhill ski runs, a huge toboggan run over 1.8 km long and a Freestyle Park. Not to mention 230 km of cross-country ski trails (34 km of which are illuminated). There are plenty of surprises in store at Saariselkä ski resort! Plus: the toboggan run, the longest in the country, is lit up at night! Ski school with 90-minute lessons for children and adults. In summer: bike rental and slopes.

Open daily from late November to early May, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Day pass at €47.50 per adult and €32.50 per child.

The Norhermost Ski Resort in Europe
Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort is the northernmost Ski Resort in Europe.
It´s runs on two fells, Iisakkipää and Kaunispää offer multiple choices for skiers and boarders of all levels from beginners to advanced .
Saariselkä is located directly to one of the largest National parks of Finland, Urho Kekkonen National Park offering fabulous hiking and outdoor possibilites. Saariselkä is easy to reach by airplane, bus of car along the E4 main road (E75). Ivalo international airport is 20 minutes away from Saariselkä.

From the ticketing office to the slopes, the staff were really cheerful, friendly and helpful, making our ski day super enjoyable. Kudos to the team! Special shoutout to the young male staff manning slope 6 (apologies I didn’t get your name) - he really put in a lot of effort to ensure we are all safely up the Tbar and was happy to make small talks while we heading up.
Der Ausblick von der Bergstation und dem Aussichtspunkt war wunderschön.
Die Schlittenstrecke hat es auf jeden Fall in sich: es geht super schnell runter und macht auch riesigen Spaß.
Für den Skipass (den man fürs Hochfahren kriegt) kriegt man im daneben Liegenden Restaurant ein Getränk gratis und kann sich nach der Action aufwärmen
절벽스키로 너무 무서웠어요… 92유로….ㅎ 썰매타면… 경치도보고 웃음도 나고 재미도 잇엇을것 같지만 인생에서 스키가 이렇게 무서울수잇구나 깨닫고 갑니다
