Philosophy
We are White Adventure, a small family owned tour operator in Lapland.
In order to offer a unique disconnect from city life and to keep a personal and friendly atmosphere, we keep our business very small. We welcome a maximum of six guests per week on our authentic nature tours.
White Adventure is a registered cooperation partner of Pallas-Ylläs National Park. Our Silence and Nature tour was selected as a "Featured Product" by Visit Finland, the Finnish national travel office, in 2016.
Guiding groups through the Arctic wilderness is a lifestyle for us, far from being "just another job". We find peace of mind in these forests, wetlands and hills - and we love to share this experience.
Our offers and services
Visit to the land of light
On this tour you will stay 6 days away from the tourist centers, surrounded by the peace of nature. You will explore nature in different ways: hiking with a reindeer, climbing a mountain, canoeing and gathering. We take a maximum of six guests per week to ensure a personal and warm atmosphere. Most weeks of the tour, we hardly meet other people. This is not mass tourism!
Please note that in June, we live in a nightless environment, which means that it is daylight 24 hours a day. The days are still long in August but by the end of the month there is already a chance to see the Northern Lights. September is the month of foliage and good dark evenings. Different months have different characters, which affect the tour program.
The Land of Light tour is accessible to all those who love the outdoors and occasional hiking.

The price includes: 6 nights in a fully equipped cabin, all breakfasts, 5 lunches, 5 dinners, entrance to the "sauna world" -spa, sauna every night, activities described above, all local transportation to and from Muonio, Levi or Kittilä airport and related to the tour.
The price does not include: travel from the country of origin to Kittilä or Muonio, travel insurance.

Expedition in the wilderness
This 6-day Wilderness Expedition trek (7-8 days with travel) is suitable for outdoor enthusiasts with good physical condition and mental stamina. Previous camping experience is also highly recommended.
Accessible to outdoor enthusiasts with previous hiking and camping experience and good physical fitness (e.g., able to run a half marathon).

Sauna every night without tent
5 day guided hike (+1 day of preparation)

Day 1 We will begin by familiarizing ourselves with each other and our equipment. After packing your backpack and receiving a safety briefing, we will drive to the expedition starting point, enjoy a sauna and spend the night in a fully equipped chalet or comfortable lodge.
Day 2 - 6 After a good breakfast we will be transferred to the starting point of the expedition. We will then start the tour. Each of you will carry your own equipment and food for the week in your backpack. We will walk about 10 to 18 kilometers per day in the wilderness.
We will prepare dinners from fresh and dry high quality ingredients on a gas or natural gas stove. Each day we will stop for a short lunch break to eat a hearty meal prepared by mixing dry flour with hot water. We will sleep nights in tents for two or three people. Each of you will have a warm, thick air-filled mattress and an appropriate sleeping bag.
After five days of hiking, we will return to the lodge or cabin to unpack and enjoy a good dinner and a well-deserved sauna.
SUMMER TOUR - Above the Fells -trek
During this trek you will walk for 6 days through the Pallas-Ylläs National Park without having to carry a heavy load on your back, as your equipment is carried from one accommodation to another. You can enjoy hiking during the day and relaxing in the sauna as well as a delicious dinner in comfortable accommodation in the evening. We take a maximum of six guests per week to ensure a personal and warm atmosphere.

Silence and Nature Tour
On this 7-day tour, you'll stay six nights away from the nearest villages for the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). You'll explore the pristine arctic nature of Pallas-Ylläs National Park and its surroundings on snowshoes, forest skis, dog sleds and reindeer sleighs. We take a maximum of six guests per week to ensure a warm, personal atmosphere. Most weeks on tour, we barely meet other people. This is not mass tourism! It's a tour for you, nature and silence only.
This tour is accessible to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and the occasional hike. It can be adapted as a private tour to suit your personal needs.

Ski Expedition - Winter
This 6-day (7-8 days with travel) Ski Expedition is suitable for outdoor enthusiasts with good cross-country or ski touring experience. Previous camping experience is also highly recommended.
