Konttaniemi Reindeer Farm is a family-owned business located along the picturesque Ounasjoki River, just seven kilometers from Rovaniemi. It has a special atmosphere with the seasonal changes specific to the Arctic Circle. Here you will learn about reindeer husbandry, its history and its adaptation to modern life. You will also enjoy the various activities offered, such as a safari or a short walk with these robust animals. Open by reservation only, requests must be made at least the day before by 3pm.
