This magnificent Lutheran chapel was built in 1999. It was the first chapel of Akaslompolo, which until 1999 had no place of worship. The interior evokes the typical wooden constructions of the region, while the glass bay overlooking the river and the geometric exterior structure evoke a new era. Many concerts are organised there.
