Literally "La Maison de la belaine". This chain of restaurants-cafés is a good way to eat for cheap in the city. The arrangement in a canteen in a setting reminiscent of the Ukrainian countryside may surprise you, but you can eat well there for about 4 or 5 € (120-155 UAH). It is easier if you speak Ukrainian or Russian but you can also designate the dishes you want with your hands. The cooks lend themselves to the exercise with humour.

Très bonne cuisine Ukrainienne, les varenekis au pomme de terre sont très bons, demandez de la "smétana" en + (=crème) ce sera encore mieux. Les "côtelettes" (pavés de viandes hachées) sont aussi très goûteuses. Le bortch au betterave rouge est moyen à mon goût, mais pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, c'est un bon moyen d'assayer, le tout est à des prix très abordables. Tous les employés parlent Ukrainiens, super, je ne les pas testé en Russe.
