At Porto Palermo, a 650 m-long tunnel from the Communist period, which was home to small, fast attack boats.
This 650 m-long "tunnel" (Tuneli i Porto Palermos) is a former naval base dug into the rock in 1969. Often presented as a shelter for submarines, the facility actually housed small fast attack boats. Communist Albania did have four Soviet-made submarines, but these were anchored at the Pashaliman base in Orikum. The Porto Palermo "tunnel" has been closed since 1998. Its entrance houses two customs boats tasked with intercepting drug traffickers between Albania and Italy.

le coup d'oeil
Juste pour la photo, c'est une base militaire donc interdit d'accès, visible de la route en surplomb, toujours en activité (souvenir de la guerre froide). Donc le prendre comme un lieu de souvenir et historique.
