Dave Nanney, owner of the place, is one of those people you wish you could meet more often. His kindness is matched only by his knowledge of Alaska. He has lived in Haines for many years after traveling the world and now occupies a turn-of-the-century house built when the U.S. Army moved here. He has created four pleasant rooms with all the necessary comforts (one bathroom for every two rooms). He is also happy to help you discover his city and its inhabitants in French!
