There are no more active mines in the region, most of them have closed. This agency proposes a visit by train with stops presenting the working conditions of the miners at the time. The train then passes in front of a huge dredge that dug the ground before bringing up the rubble, washing it and filtering it to remove the gold. Then a miner comes to show you how to recover the gold and it is then up to you to rub it with your stick. The gold flakes found can be sold for dollars (between 10 and 20 US$ depending on your skills)!
