Restaurant decorated with a Basque atmosphere where the chef offers traditional cuisine to enjoy after a day of skiing.

A very nice Basque atmosphere in the den of this restaurant decorated with paintings by Aski, posters of the Bayonne festivals... Around the bar, a friendly atmosphere, the meeting place of the "old" ski instructors, pillars of the resort who are remaking the world. At the table, the chef offers a traditional cuisine well done: roast rack of lamb with thyme, rib of beef, scallop skewer, ceps sauce, duck breast with foie gras sauce, around the very friendly owner. The quality of the cooking is always at the rendezvous. It is the ideal place to settle down for a moment on a beautiful day of skiing.

La place ne fait pas tout
Soirée du nouvel an à 15 personnes, très mauvais accueil, serveurs arrogants, débordés au bout de 2 verres et irrespectueux envers les clients. À fuir absolument !

Plus un bar mais littéralement une beuveries jusqu’à 5h du matin !! C’est plus un bar mais une discothèque ou quand on vient en famille on n’eut tous simplement pas dormir la nuit!!!

A éviter fortement ! QUEL ACCUEIL !!
Le patron se moque considérablement des clients.
Il fume dans le bar avec un serveur en ma présence et celle de 2 jeunes hommes mineurs.
Devant ma remarque, il me demande "d'aller voir le match de foot dehors à travers la vitre" ( avec - 5 degré à 21h). Et devant mon mécontentement, afin de protéger aussi les 2 jeunes, il me répond : " Si t'es pas content, tu prends ton verre et tu te casses ! " avant de rajouter "avant on pouvait fumer !"
Avant, c'était il y a 11 ans !
Ce comportement est inacceptable surtout sur un site touristique !
Je me suis contenu mais d'autres clients n'auraient certainement pas réussi à la faire !

I love this restaurant for its quality of the dishes and the effort that they make to accompany them. Super atmosphere, you can stay on site to drink a facelift with original cocktails later for example. I in vain try to go in other restaurants in the resort but it is stronger than me I go back every time.
Whether it is for couples, families or friends.
Bravo and continue like.
