The facade of the Auberge de la Caverne is remarkable for its ancient appearance. Nestled between the vertical cliffs, the river and the thermal baths, this establishment immediately seduced its new owners Eliane and Olivier. Here you will find a menu that changes with the seasons, the chef works with a maximum of fresh and local produce. You will enjoy delicious homemade dishes with traditional raclette in winter, see the tartiflette or otherwise the rest of the time, regional cuisine will often be in the spotlight. As for dessert, Olivier always offers you small delicacies. En revanche, j'ai été désolée cette fois d'y trouver en terrasse des oiseaux en cage.
Contrairement à ce que l'on raconte aux enfants (puisque ce sont "les oiseaux de [vos] enfants" m'avez-vous dit), les oiseaux ne chantent pas en cage, ils pleurent leur liberté. Apprenons à nos enfants que les animaux exotiques ne sont pas "décoratifs" et finissons-en avec ce commerce barbare.
