Read moreA Savoyard fortress built at the end of the 13th century, the castle of Morges became a museum of military history in 1925. The site now houses several museums: the Museum of Historical Figurines, the largest Swiss museum of its kind (over 40,000 figurines), the Gendarmerie Museum, the Foreign Service Room and the Paderewski Museum. The military museum has been divided into two: the Artillery Museum and the Waldensian Military History Museum.
