Garden with Italian-style terrace and English grove from 1582-1855, featuring memorial buildings such as the obelisk.
The Coutances Plant Garden was created between 1852 and 1855 thanks to a donation to the town by Mr Quesnel, who wanted the property to be developed so that the inhabitants of Coutances could enjoy it. Moreover, among the buildings in the garden, a granite obelisk was erected in his memory. You will plunge into the heart of the French symmetry, travel through the Italian terraces and the English groves, admire the ornamental trees of America. The walk is pleasant, relaxing and romantic.

Un endroit charmant, en plein cœur de ville et pourtant très calme, idéal pour faire un break, lire un peu, rêvasser......... le jardin est bien entretenu et il y a aussi des emplacements un peu à l'écart, un peu plus "sauvages"..........
