A Cherbourg institution: opposite the theater, you'll find "Au Vivier", one of the town's best-known - and renowned - seafood shops. Of course, it's a fishmonger's, with daily deliveries (remember that the Bassin du Commerce, where the trawlers arrive, is only 200 meters away?), but it's also a caterer, offering delicacies that can be ordered on the spot. Finally, in summer, the restaurant boasts an attractive terrace where you can savour the products on offer.
