The accommodation is not too factory-like. It has 23 beds in 3 dormitories and there is enough room for everyone. The rooms and common areas (as well as the showers) are very clean. Finally, the welcome is very warm, the included breakfast is very copious and every evening a free dinner is proposed at 7 pm (rather fast-food spirit).

Set on the edge of the Vistula at the height of Kazimierz, close to the pedestrian bridge, this boat has a bar, an outdoor restaurant and a few rooms on board, with en-suite bathrooms. Simple, but original and very pleasant. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace.

It's just an 8-minute walk from the medieval Rynek Główny square and 1 km from the Wawel Royal Castle. Krakow railway station is 4 km away. The warmly decorated, casual-style rooms feature flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, mini-fridges and kettles. Some rooms also feature a sofa bed and/or connecting rooms. Superior rooms are decorated in Art Nouveau style and offer free access to the gym and sauna. The hotel also boasts a refined, inviting restaurant, a lush indoor garden, a sauna and a gym. Located halfway between the Old Town and the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz (10 minutes' walk in both directions), the Daniel Griffin Aparthotel is housed in a beautiful building adorned with a griffin. It is located on a busy street, which is not noticeable in the well-insulated rooms. The rooms are modern and sober. The bedding is recent, and the equipment such as the bathroom are of quality. The reception staff is very available, smiling and warm.

Econochic as we like it, with excellent value for money. You'll receive a warm welcome and attentive staff at this hotel, conveniently located between Wawel Hill Castle and the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. The rooms are modern and very clean, spacious but also rather impersonal. One of the hotel's strong points is its delicious breakfast (not included), served in a very pleasant setting. For all these reasons, and for its competitive price, we recommend it.

The Hotel Polski has a long history and is certainly one of the city's oldest establishments. In the ^19th century, an inn called "Under the White Eagle" was built on this site, and was bought by Prince Adam Czartoryski - the family behind the superb collection in the adjacent museum - to become the Hotel Polski. Today, you have a well-run business with luxurious, comfortable rooms, copying the style of the great imperial era.

Good value for money from this small 4-star hotel with 20 rooms (but no lobby). Very well located on Grozka, between Wawel and Rynek, some rooms overlook the street and the church of St. Peter and St. Paul, others overlook the courtyard (check carefully before booking). The service is very good, and breakfast in the red-brick Renaissance cellar is free, very copious and varied, with fresh produce. The rooms are clean, renovated but sparsely decorated. So they've already gone out of fashion.

Overlooking the station square, this hotel is a monument of the city, present in all the old postcards. Its great era is behind it but it keeps a good standing and quality service, with 41 rooms, elegant and classic style, from a restaurant, spa, bar, secure parking and a beautiful summer garden. The old building, built in 1884 by Jan Kazimierz Lubicz Łapiński (whose family still owns the place after a period of nationalization by the socialist government), is still attractive.

In one of the most beautiful 15th century houses on the Rynek, called by the Kraków people "Pod Obrazem" (To the Picture), you will find the hotel's 18 apartments with a view of the square. Each room has its own individual and tasteful decoration, combining modern comfort with a period setting. The hotel's gourmet restaurant on the first floor, also overlooking the Rynek, has been visited by the most important names of the Polish political, business and media elite. Given the lack of additional services, the price is higher but justified by the location. Breakfast not very memorable.

Modern, very pleasant and right in the spirit of Krakow's "Jewish Revival", this is the only authentically Jewish hotel in the area. On the program: Jewish decorative motifs, an excellent kosher restaurant frequented by the few local practitioners and a mikveh, the only Jewish ritual bath still in operation in Poland. Finally, it was within the august walls of this hotel that Steven Spielberg chose to shoot many scenes from his famous film Schindler's List. An address that's delightfully off the beaten track.

A pretty address full of charm. At "Les Voisins", you immediately feel at ease, as if you were among friends, and you can feel that the staff has taken special care to ensure that this is the case. The place is full of character, thanks to its superb interior courtyard that frames the rooms and creates a sense of privacy and calm. The breakfast held there in the summer is idyllic. The rooms, tastefully decorated, promise beautiful nights.

This charming apartment-hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of town. The rooms are practically brand-new, with excellent bedding, pleasant bathrooms and modern decor. The breakfast buffet (complementary) is very complete and particularly pleasant to enjoy on the terrace in summer. All in all, this is a very good-value establishment close to the center of town. On a small note, the hotel is not equipped with an elevator, so it is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.

Located in a historic 19th-century mansion just a stone's throw from Wawel Hill, this hotel was once an inn called "A l'aigle noir". After a fire in 1850, it was rebuilt and continues to practice its noble art. Today, this very small hotel with frescoed common areas has elegant, somewhat dated but still comfortable rooms, a fitness center and a beautiful green courtyard surrounded by bay windows. The orangery has an original glass roof that adds to the charm of the building.

Hotel Pod Wawelem is a 3-star hotel overlooking the Vistula River. It is also close to Jagiellonian University and just 12 km from Krakow-Balice John Paul II International Airport. The hotel's cosy rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. Some superior rooms even come with a mini-fridge and/or balcony overlooking the river. The hotel also features a pub with a relaxed atmosphere and two restaurants, including a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views of the Vistula River. Despite the frenzy of hotel construction, the explosion of Airbnb and bed and breakfasts, the real trend is towards the apartment-hotel. Crystal is one of the most popular with tourists, thanks to the clever mix of services and freedom offered by the nine equipped apartments in the heart of the city, with a reception at the entrance. The accommodations are comfortable and modern, the decor authentic vintage style (carpets, furniture, paneling 1980s) but not decrepit. Please note that cleaning and breakfast are not included in the price.
