Practical information : Sightseeing Krakow
Timetable
The city's museum network is open from 10am to 5pm, later in the summer. They close on Mondays. Most of the establishments have opening hours that vary according to the season and often from year to year. It is always wise to check the websites. For the most popular destinations, it is advisable to go early in the morning to enjoy them away from the crowds.
To be booked
It is advisable to book a ticket in advance for all the activities in town. The most difficult to access is the Schindler factory.
Budget & Tips
If the visits are not very expensive, it is always better to do them for free! Each museum has a free day, available on the Internet. It is not possible to reserve a place in advance, so it is better to go early. The Wawel Cathedral is free in November. For those who want to visit more than one place, we recommend the Krakow Tourist Card (www.krakowcard.com).
Guided tours
We strongly advise you to take guided tours of the most popular museums: Schindler's factory, Underground Krakow, etc. A guided tour of the city is also recommended for the first time.
