Between sea, urbanism, plains and mountains, this agglomeration forms a major life pole, gathering a multitude of districts and tribes (N'dé...) but also beautiful beaches and a magnificent nature, in the shade of the mounts Humboldt, Touta and Mou. Païta has several buildings and monuments worthy of interest: the communal school of 1876, the chapel of the Holy Family, the Saint-Léon hostel installed by Monseigneur Bresson in a former rum factory and the remains of the old railway station. To the north of the city, on Mount Vi-Vette, stands a small replica of Christ the Redeemer of Rio. Beautiful hikes also.
