Church located in Avranches which preserves on its right side a bas-relief in limestone of the 14th century
Another little gem of the city, and one that is easily recognizable in the city’s skyline! The church preserves on its right side a 14th century limestone bas-relief representing the massacre of the innocent saints by Leverrier. The latter, classified as a historical monument in 1904, is the main point of a set that was even higher more than a century ago! Indeed, between 1835 and 1853, the church supported a telegraphy antenna, at an altitude of more than 100 meters, not surprising when one knows the high situation of the city.
