Located 12 km from Badou, Tomegbe, which means "behind the river", is a small rural village near Ghana. On the way, the agricultural plains of Litimé, Akposso and Akébou confirm that the region is the breadbasket of Togo, with its coffee and cocoa fields, its pineapples, its cotton... Tomegbe, with its dirt tracks and its few shops, gives a good idea of the daily life in rural areas. The architecture is traditional, but some houses surprise by their colonial style. At the entrance of the village, stands a beautiful stone church, built in 1953. Very beautiful waterfalls are located in the surroundings.
