Restaurant in the heart of town since 1988, offering local cuisine including Vire andouille, or lunchtime specials

For over thirty years, the Wahl couple have been delighting us in their downtown restaurant. The secrets of their success? The talent, unfailing creativity and hard work of Michael, Maître Restaurateur, in the kitchen since the age of 12, combined with the quality of Valérie's service. In a rustic setting of comfortable armchairs and benches, you can savor a cuisine of new flavors with the lunch menu, or local cuisine with one of the two menus. We recommend (of course!) the andouille de Vire and the vanilla vacherin!

Malgré qu'il y ait déjà du monde et sans réservation, nous avons déjà été très bien accueillis ce midi par la patronne. Le service était fait avec sourire et bienveillance (seul bémol : j'ai du demander du sel et du poivre et deux fois du pain pour le fromage, mais c'est un détail) et avec pas trop d'attente. La carte est variée, la cuisine est locale et goûtue. Le bar en croûte et le rumsteack à la sauce béarnaise, par exemple, avec des accompagnements raffinés et les desserts, étaient bien frais et de très bonne qualité. Le reste devait être du même acabit. Les prix sont en plus raisonnables. A l'occasion, nous y fetournerons. Restaurant qui mérite amplement bien sa note.
