Jacques, Dominique and their Cape Verdean staff, who are constantly training, welcome you to their guest house: 5 spacious rooms with terraces offering superb views of the ornamental garden and swimming pool, and further afield, the jagged mountains surrounding the Ribeira das Patas crater. Here you can relax, swim, feast on garden produce, have breakfast outside and unwind.

Owner's Message
Bed and Breakfast, Cape VerdeQuinta Cochete is an agricultural estate located on the slopes of the vast crater of Ribeira das Patas.
For the past 4 years, Jacques and Dominique, a French-Swiss couple, with the help of local workers, have been rehabilitating the estate, a large part of which was abandoned.
The planting terraces have been restored, a reservoir built, drip irrigation installed, a new corral (stable) built. The estate produces potatoes and sweet potatoes, various vegetables, fruits: banana, papaya, strawberry, fig, etc. and sugar cane, which will be transformed into quality grog (rum), aged in barrels in our cellar.
You will be welcomed in the house of the domain, which we wanted spacious and comfortable, for a comforting stage between two tonic walks, or for a stay of relaxation in a soothing frame.
In any case you will be able to enjoy our swimming pool, either the sporty version in the 20 meters long corridor, or the relaxing version.

Very large and delicious breakfasts. The pool is also amazing. I have only but praise.
Dans un décor volcanique, un lieu exceptionnel !!! Magnifique.
Une maison d'hôte, inimaginable ici. Vous entrez dans une oasis de verdure et de fleurs. Tout y est !!
Des hôtes accueillant, une équipe aux petits soins et d'une gentillesse exemplaire.
Des plantes et des fleurs à profusion, une maison Magnifique conçue avec intelligence et goût. Malgré les températures extérieures importantes et un soleil mordant, vous bénéficiez de chambres ventilées sans climatisation. Comble du luxe dans cet endroit, la piscine...eau salée, parfaite pour vous rafraîchir après des randonnées où le paysage et l'histoire géologique de l'île sont sous chacun de vos regards.
La table est excellente, avec des produits hyper locaux quand ils ne sortent pas de la propriété directement.
Le savoir recevoir à la perfection.
Comme partout au Cap Vert, faites attention aux ressources (eau+++, produits cosmetiques qui se retrouveraient dans l'eau, électricité!!) même si les hôtes ne vous le disent pas par correction et savoir vivre ????
