SPANISH SCHOOL IN VIENNA
Read moreThe Spanish Riding School, also known as the Vienna Spanish School, is an internationally recognized riding school based in Vienna. Founded in 1735, it is the only institution in the world to preserve and cultivate the classical equestrian art of the High School, from the Renaissance to the present day. The famous Lipizzaners are trained here and present top-class equestrian shows in the magnificent baroque setting of the Imperial Palace. Gala performances allow spectators to witness unrivalled equestrian spectacles in the world's most beautiful riding arena, designed by the Baroque architect Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach. In addition to the shows, it's possible to visit the stables and watch the morning training of the horses.
