A house where you can discover Joseph Haydn's harpsichord and fortepiano.
An interesting tour of an 18th century Viennese interior and a moving pilgrimage for lovers of Joseph Haydn (1732-1809). In this house, the composer lived and composed for 12 years. In 2009, on the occasion of the Haydn year, the museum was renovated and the exhibition accompanying the visit of the apartment was completely redesigned. His harpsichord and fortepiano are on display. The garden, reconstituted as it was in the musician's time, offers a haven of greenery.

J'ai profité du fait que j'étais à Vienne lors du premier dimanche du mois pour visiter gratuitement la maison de Haydn. Si vous êtes un fan de musique, cela vaut la peine de s'y rendre. Je trouve toujours intéressant de visiter les lieux où ont habité des personnages que j'admire. L'endroit n'étant pas très grand, votre visite sera sans doute d'une durée d'environ une heure tout au plus.
