With views of the countryside, this family-run property offers traditional Icelandic cuisine and a furnished terrace. Free parking is provided. Some rooms have a beautiful view of Vatnajökull. The reception is also very friendly and the natural setting is incredible for hiking. You feel welcome and in a setting that is conducive to letting go.

The room wasn’t so quiet - heard too many moving sounds throughout the night.
WiFi didn’t work.
On top of it all, wifi didn't work the entire stay which was very needed given there was very bad mobile service. Overall, this should have cost 50% of what it did. Breakfast was fine though.
