This very good hotel is one of the only 4 stars in the south of the country - a justified distinction. The wooden building is beautiful and warm. The rooms are divided between the main building and small chalets. The most luxurious rooms offer private verandas and a whirlpool. Very Scandinavian decor for very pleasant rooms and common areas. A real address, with views over the river and the Hekla, more equipped with a gourmet restaurant of quality. A very good address for the observation of the aurora borealis.

Seulement une escale, nous y retournerons très certainement car cet endroit est un écrin de luxe et de raffinement en plein coeur de la nature. Le saumon servi au restaurant est l'un des meilleurs que nous ayons goûté. La cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons eu l'émerveillement d'assister à une danse d'aurores boréales cette nuit là!

Tel un chalet, avec la convivialité attendue, ce sont tous les détails qui font la différence! Et cette cuisine bouscule la gastronomie française, c'est excellent.
