Guest house with character offering tastefully decorated rooms

This characterful guest house has 4 tastefully furnished rooms. The included breakfast is homemade and perfect to start the day. There is also a communal kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The setting is a magnificent view of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the black sandy beach is only a few minutes walk away. From Route 1, take Route 218 towards Dyrhólaey, 14 km west of Vík.

Clean, cute B&B. Friendly host, top-tier breakfast spread. Fresh bread was actually coming out of the oven as we emerged from our comfortable bedroom. Glad to have stayed here twice during our week in Iceland.

Enjoyed a lovely stay with great food and interesting conversation with people from around the world. Only a few minutes drive from the light house and Vik. The host recommended Sudor-Vik for dinner which was fantastic food.

Can’t recommend it enough! The room was beautiful and comfortable and the host was lovely. We had a small issue that she helped us out with and gave us the best restaurant recommendation of the trip while she was at it. Make sure you don’t miss breakfast, there was homemade bread and jam, fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm, and local smoked salmon. Can’t wait to come back!
