Everything was just perfect! I won’t spoil the surprise of this amazing place, you just have to try it.

I really hate to tell anybody about this place because I love it so much I want it all to myself ????❤️????
Our hostess was an amazing woman, a great baker, fantastic artist, and every day had breakfast for all of us at a communal table really nice
Also, love the dog????
After two weeks in Iceland, it was my favorite place to stay

Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft: ab dem ersten Betreten des Gasthauses fühlt man sich willkommen und zu Hause, tolles Design, liebevoll eingerichtet in einem alten Farmhaus, fantastisches Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten, viel Bio und Selbstgemachtem von einer super freundlichen Gastgeberin, gerne wieder

Our room was cozy, clean and had a warm atmosphere, the host was nice and friendly and we had a nice chat over the most amazing breakfast I had in a long time: everything was a local produce and super tasty!

sehr ruhige geräumige Unterkunft, durch gemeinsamen Frühstückstisch hat es etwas familiäres.sehr ordentlich mit etwas Farm Image. Eigener Netflix Account ist vorteilhaft.

Amazing guesthouse. Easily one of the best places to stay in the entire country. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is immaculate, location is peaceful, and the breakfast is incredible.

Clean, cute B&B. Friendly host, top-tier breakfast spread. Fresh bread was actually coming out of the oven as we emerged from our comfortable bedroom. Glad to have stayed here twice during our week in Iceland.

Enjoyed a lovely stay with great food and interesting conversation with people from around the world. Only a few minutes drive from the light house and Vik. The host recommended Sudor-Vik for dinner which was fantastic food.

Can’t recommend it enough! The room was beautiful and comfortable and the host was lovely. We had a small issue that she helped us out with and gave us the best restaurant recommendation of the trip while she was at it. Make sure you don’t miss breakfast, there was homemade bread and jam, fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm, and local smoked salmon. Can’t wait to come back!

Can I give them 10 stars?

Grand Gardakot is a marvelous guesthouse located in a reasonably distances from a touristy town — Vik. This place is peaceful, clean, warmed hospitality from the host — Ieva. Sadly i did not have a chance to explore the farm due to bad weather. Breakfast was superb. I like homemade jam and bread. Accommodation cost is fairly acceptable compared with other places in the village and nearby. This was my best 2-night in the whole Iceland Trip. I wish Ieva all the best and hope to see you in the near future.

Eine sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft.
Einzeln liegendes Gehöft vor dem gewaltigen Atlantik Islands. Es war herrlich in dem alten Schaukelstuhl ein Buch zu lesen.
Das Gasthaus hatte das gewisse Flair Islands.
