Municipal swimming pool, a place only in Iceland, with natural warm waters of the place, a few minutes walk from the parking
It is a place like you can only find in Iceland, a swimming pool, a real one, built in the mountain in 1923 using the natural hot water of the place. To get there, follow route 1 and then take route 242 towards Raufarfell to the end. From the parking lot it's about a 20 minute walk to the pool. And when we say swimming pool, we are talking about a bath with naturally heated water inside! The comfort is more than basic, just a cabin to change, but we come here especially to be in the middle of nature.
