The Secret Lagoon, with a small lagoon hidden in a magical setting and a very natural setting, is a real nugget
Often compared to the famous Blue Lagoon, Secret Lagoon (or Gamla Laugin) is indeed a real nugget, often appreciated for its less touristy side. Simpler, but just as beautiful with its very natural setting. This little lagoon, hidden away in a magical setting with water temperatures of around 38-40°C, is the ideal place to end your trip to the Golden Circle, or to come and watch the Northern Lights in winter. The site is located in Fluðir, about 30 km south of Gullfoss on route 30. Don't forget to book, as the site is very popular (and not so secret!).

Endroit qui a su garder un charme naturel ! Loin du "luxe" du blue lagoon! Très agréable après une bonne journée dans le froid ! A la nuit tombée on peut observer les étoiles tout en profitant dans cette eau chaude! Le lieu n'est plus si secret que ça, mais la fréquentation reste modérée. C'est un lieu super agréable !

Moins touristique que le Blue Lagoon mais pas désert non plus, c'est une source chaude voire très chaude quand on se rapproche des sources chaudes qui bouillonnent

bain chaud en pleine nature
profiter d'un bain chaud au milieu d'un magnifique paysage, petite rivière, soleil couchant, et peut être même apercevoir des aurores boréales en hiver
