Almannagjá gorge hosted several sequences. The canyon corresponds to the Eyrie Blood Gate, through which Littlefinger and Sansa Stark arrive in season 1 (ep. 5). She is seen again in season 4 (ep. 5 and 8), when the Sandman brings Arya Stark back to her aunt Lysa Arryn, who is in fact deceased. It is also in this canyon that Ygrid and Tormund (who descended south of the Wall in season 4 to attack Châteaunoir and open the southern gate to allow the Free People to escape the White Walkers) are joined by the terrifying Thenns.
