B5

Discotheque

This address, which is a bar and restaurant during the day, is transformed in the evening, especially on Friday and Saturday, into a club where all Reykjavík meets. The decoration and the style are chic: appreciate the Philippe Stark lamps, the leather sofa, the retro interior in spite of a little small room when the bar is crowded. The music is pop and very FM, but the atmosphere is good and often overexcited. Beware, the minimum age to enter is 20 years old and a rather hipster/trendy dress code must be respected in general to be able to enter.

PALOMA CLUB

Fun and entertainment

Created in 2013, the Paloma club located near the old port of the capital is one of the favorite addresses of Reykjavikers to end the evening. Relatively untouched by mass tourism, this club is appreciated for its large dance floors, but also for its friendly atmosphere. The music is as unpredictable as it is eclectic, moving happily from reggae tracks to techno/platinum sounds. Sometimes local bands perform. Beware, the place can get crowded, so always keep an eye on your stuff.

Club

Located near the old port and the city center, here is a place for your parties. Faceted ball on the ceiling, big bar and rococo prints, welcome to Pablo Discobar! Here, come and taste the flavours of Latin America, dishes with a so caliente atmosphere. Rather atypical in the ice island, but the place is worth the detour with delicious cocktails served in beautiful glasses, and a music more 1980s than latino. Don't hesitate to ask the waiters to advise you on the choice of cocktail, which they can even personalise for you on request.
