We stayed here for two days on a longer trip, and firstly the view is second to none - Hallgrimskirkja filled our window. It's very quiet for being so central and the rooms are comfy. Parking is free over the road, but we did get blocked in by tour buses twice!

One point to note is that some of the rooms aren't in the main (pictured) Hotel and you have to cross the road and go in to an entirely different building. It feels a bit like being a poor relation but it wasn't really an issue.

Another slight disappointment was that the breakfast wasn't great, very basic.

It's a great, reasonably priced b&b though, and we did really like it here!

I recently stayed at a hotel in the city center and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable rooms and great location. The hotel is situated in a typical building, but the rooms are tastefully decorated and well-maintained.

One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful view of the church from my room. It was truly a picturesque scene that added to the overall ambiance of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city center, as it is just a short walk away from all the main attractions and restaurants. I appreciated being able to easily access everything I wanted to see and do during my stay.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city center.

Loved our stay in this cute top floor room with sunlights and a balcony! Convenient and walkable, great breakfast buffet, coffee/tea available all day, and a place to refill your water bottles.

The hotel clearly invests in maintaining the property — construction workers were there for some routine maintenance during our stay. Our room was very comfortable and cozy during the middle of a snow storm with gale force winds. You could barely hear the wind inside and there were no drafts from the windows, skylights, or the balcony door.

No elevator, so you burn a few additional calories by taking the stairs :) Eat all the pastries you want! And drink all the beer!

Bonus: It’s VERY EASY to find your way back home. Just walk up any hill towards Hallgrimskirkja and the hotel is across the street.

Wouldn’t really recommend this hotel to anyone. Our room wasn’t even at the main hotel building, they have an old building beside the main hotel where the rooms are extremely small and noisy.
The worst part is definitely the bathroom which was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen, doesn’t even have a proper shower or sink.
