Thanks to cutting-edge technology combining visual, sound and physical effects, The Volcano Express realistically recreates the tremors of an earthquake, the heat of a lava flow or the sensation of flying and free-falling around an erupting volcano. Your journey begins in Reykjavík and takes you through the iconic sites of south-western Iceland, such as Esjan Mountain, the active volcano Hengill, Bláfjöll and its unique magma chamber, and Keilir, whose tremors preceded the recent eruptions on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Each stop reveals the country's geological dynamics, fed by the mid-Atlantic ridge that crosses the island and causes the constant upwelling of magma.
