Originally, Funky Punki was a simple window with smiling boys making pancakes to go. Now it's a small creperie on Klariska Street, where you can sit down or take away. Bratislava's institutional restaurant, the Bratislavský Meštianský brewery has been enthroned since 1752 in Dunajská Street, overtaken by communist constructions. Inside, there are beautiful vaulted rooms where the whole of Slovak society, from workers to ministers, can be found. The reason is simple: the perfectly executed cuisine gives pride of place to Slovak classics. The service is fast and efficient and the beer flows freely. It's normal, it's brewed here.
