Travel Guide Sudislavl ' (Судиславль)

The village has 4 500 inhabitants, and three important companies (a carpentry, a flax spinning machine and a factory that produces asphalt). Soudislavl was founded in the th century by Vladimir's sons of Beau Soleil, as a stage town between Kostroma and Galitch.In the th century, it was destroyed by the Mongolian Tatars. In the th century, the little town was offered by Ivan the Terrible to his son Theodore. In the th century, it was again destroyed entirely during the war against Poles. But a century later, the city, repeated its ashes, once again produced hides and spirits, and organized fairs where farmers in the region came to sell honey, mushrooms or wax.
