Welcome to the valley of Kamarata, nestled at the foot of the Auyan Tepuy on its southeast base, the largest tepuy of Gran Sabana. Here you can admire its fabulous rocky walls, which have been subjected to the erosion of wind and water for millions of years, between savanna and forest. This is the easiest point to climb the giant. As Kavac is much less commercial than Canaïma, many prefer the first appointee. Yet, all of this dégage a sense of mysticism. You have to visit the Grotte cave by leaving the savanna, along the forest through a trail that follows a river. Then we arrive on the canyon of Kavac where the lower, a fabulous waterfall. By going to "La Toma de Agua", where the panorama is a marvel, do not hesitate to swim in the river. Finally, the Pémons villages of Kamarata and Santa Marta are worth a look at their craft, before going to brave the forests that separate you from the fall of Aguasakapan. However, to the!!
