In general, the tube and buses cover the entire city centre, but the suburban lines of the National Rail, the English railway company, can be useful, and sometimes much faster. This network is connected to several metro stations in the city marked with a red symbol on the metro maps. If you wish to travel to one of London's districts by train, please note that your metro ticket or Travelcard is valid on board the train, as long as the station is located in the same validity area.
