Edit Porto Urbano is located in the traditional area of Turin's movida: the murazzi. This festive restaurant-bar occupies the former Devalle warehouses, boathouses on the west bank of the River Po. Its four arches offer indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for partying, with panoramic views of the Turin hillside opposite. In the San Salvario district, not far from Valentino Park, this small, friendly restaurant opened in September 2023, offering carefully prepared dishes served in a relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are inspired by Piedmontese tradition, but with a highly original twist. The result of this new cuisine: tasty, light dishes, accompanied by a well-composed wine list and warm, helpful service and advice. A welcome new address in this rapidly changing district.

Taken over in 2017 by architect Simona Vlaic and completely refurbished and redecorated, Turin's oldest inn, near Porta Palazzo in one of the city's liveliest districts, now boasts a highly acclaimed restaurant. Here you can enjoy dishes created by chef Giulio Carlo Ferrero, who, while respecting Piedmont's gastronomic traditions, injects a modern energy. Just a stone's throw from the Parco del Valentino and not far from the Porta Nuova train station, right in the heart of San Salvario, this excellent restaurant lets you recharge your batteries with traditional southern Italian dishes, beautifully prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The warmth of the South is reflected in the chillies used (the famous rosso picante!), the checkered tablecloths, the friendly service, and the products from Calabria, Sicily and Puglia on sale here if you want to take home a few souvenirs of your fine meal. A perfect place.

Modern and elegant restaurant located in the center of Turin that serves great food inspired by the classic Piedmontese tradition, known for example for its vitello tonnato (veal in tuna sauce) and ravioli del plin al sugo d'arrosto (pasta stuffed with roast juice sauce). Superb regional wine list and a selection of vermouths, including one in cask (unique in Italy!). Excellent value for money. The restaurant pays homage to the great Baroque architect Guarino Guarini, author of the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, among other things.

One of Turin's finest pizzerias, located just a few meters behind the Gran Madre di Dio church. Neapolitan pizzas baked in the oven have that unmistakable taste, now a Unesco World Heritage Site. What quality! Not surprising, you might say, when you know that the pizzaiolo is Roberto Grivet, master instructor and multiple award-winner for the excellence of his light, crunchy dough made with organic flour. You can also take away... Portions are copious, because pizza (especially this one) can be eaten without hunger!

Don't be put off by the exterior, which doesn't look like much, because this is a real Piedmontese trattoria, and a chic version at that. The prices are a little higher than elsewhere but they are largely justified as the dishes are delicate, refined and presented as in a luxury restaurant. The products worked in the plate are of a very great quality. What more can we say? It is beautiful, it is good, and the service is warm and benevolent! Everything is perfect! A great success!

In the heart of San Salvario, located in the Lombroso Cultural Center, this social restaurant supports the integration or reintegration of people made vulnerable by life.
