A pastry shop, tea room and ice cream parlour, this café has been one of the city's historic boutiques since 1934. It's housed in a former palace with a pretty terrace and loggia that doubles as a restaurant, while inside the tearoom is a beautiful vaulted room. Its gourmet specialties include spungate, egg and marzipan pastries (Dante wrote about them in the Divine Comedy!), not to mention the succulent Sicilian cannoli, crisp cookies filled with ricotta.
