Immortalized as the "Royal Road" in the Game of Thrones series, Dark Hedges is a natural site of mystical beauty. This small alleyway is home to magnificent hundred-year-old beech trees, whose twisted branches intertwine. The trees were planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family to impress visitors. To make the most of them, come early in the morning or at the end of the day, and especially when the trees are in bloom. Alas, mass tourism has somewhat damaged the landscape: of the original 150 trees, only half remain.

À voir pour tout fan de "Game of Thrones" !
Lieu rendu mythique grâce à la célèbre série, cette partie de forêt est absolument à voir tant elle dégage un aspect mythique. Même si vous n'êtes pas un fan, cela mérite incontestablement une photo !

Très joli site naturel, facilement accessible en le programmant sur le GPS. Vous pouvez vous garer à proximité. Important : allez y suffisamment tôt pour être certains d'éviter les flots de touristes!

Beaucoup de charme à cette allée si belle. Néanmoins il y a énormément de touristes ce qui gâche un peu. Donc je conseille, si possible d'y venir le matin assez de bonne heure.

Lieu de tournage de nombreux films. Cette rue est superbe, bordée de ces arbres. Seul hic: les touristes qui n'hésitent pas à se garer au milieu (foule et voitures fait perdre du charme). Ayez la délicatesse de vous garer au début ou à la fin pour permettre à tous d'en profiter.
