Monuments to visit Wexford

In the th century, the city had seven doors that marked its limits. Westgate is the only one to have been preserved. The West Gate Heritage Centre offers exhibitions on the old town, maps and an audiovisual show on the history of Wexford.

Offered to the city of Wexford by the American government, this statue, located in front of the tourist office, was erected in honour of John Barry (1745-1803), the great figure of the American Navy. Born in Wexford, he emigrated to the United States where he became a hero of the American navy during the war of independence.
