One of the Elite Hotel chain, located on the main avenue Birger Jarlsgatan, the border between Östermalm and Norrmalm. The hotel is housed in a large 19th century building and faces the beautiful Humlegården Park, just a stone's throw from the lively Stureplan Square and the shopping streets. The building has been a hotel for a hundred years and was the place where Selma Lagerlöf stayed when she was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature as the first woman in 1909.
