These are several semi-lacustrine villages, located on Lake Nokoué. To reach them, take a pirogue from the Djassin pier. On the circular boulevard of Porto-Novo, pass the Hotel Bellevue, coming from the bridge, then turn left. At the pier, there are many boatmen offering their services. To go to the Aguégués, there is a choice between the motorized pirogue and the bamboo pirogue. The advertised price of the motorized pirogue is 45,000 FCFA, but it is negotiable. The other possibility to discover the lake is to make the crossing to Cotonou. Count on a duration of about 3 hours and a cost from 50 000 FCFA.
