Every summer, as part of the Summartónar festival, classical music concerts are held throughout the islands, in churches, village halls... or a cave. This festival is an opportunity for composers and musicians to showcase their music in intimate venues, and to get closer to the public. The marathon route starts in the center of Tórshavn and continues around the city, following the waterfront, along beautifully paved roads and through particularly peaceful urban areas.

Right in the heart of Tórshavn, this pop festival lasts 12 hours non-stop. Concerts along the quay, Undir Bryggjubakka, and in and around Vágsbotn square. Lights, Christmas market, Nordic atmosphere... a unique experience for the whole family. On the program: ice skating in downtown Tórshavn. Open throughout December, the skating rink is the ideal place to enjoy a fun family activity. Discover the Christmas village in the SMS shopping center (elves, animals, colorful trees, illuminated decorations...). And then, take a bath with the locals! It's the traditional Sunday swim. Go for a swim in the ocean, an invigorating and unique experience. The cold water, around 5 degrees, is excellent for wrinkles and toning!
