JELLING MEMORIAL AND BURIAL SITE (JELLING MONUMENT)

Composed of two royal mounds, unfortunately stones and a church, the site was classified in 1994 as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Two artificial buttes in the th century set two unfortunately stones and a Romanesque church of the th century. For now nothing extraordinary except that all this dates from the first Viking king of Denmark, Gorm the old, and his son, the first Christian Viking king of Denmark, Harald to the blue tooth, and this is the first time that the word "Denmark" is written on Danish territory.
