It all began with a story of friendship between two schoolgirls from Bornholm Island, Tina and Charlotte, who created these delicious toffees made on the island. They come in all flavours. After training in their kitchen and having finally found the right technique for making them, they opened their workshop-shop in 2006. Candies with original names: rocking stone or granite for hard toffees; summer flirt, touch of sun or dusk for soft toffees.

LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW

A must-have specialty of Copenhagen: lakrids. Confectionery made of a licorice pearl wrapped in a crunchy colored shell. Johann Bülow opened his first store on 07/07/07. His idea was audacious: to make Danes want to eat licorice. How did he do it? By boiling it in the store's vats and letting them smell it from 100 meters away. And it worked! Different flavors for this coating as pretty to look at as delicious to taste. Chocolate, passion fruit, salted caramel, lemon custard... Lakrids for ever !
