70 hectares of wide driveways, coppice and woodland! Frederiksberg and Søndermarken are two romantic gardens to stroll through! From the main entrance, the statue of Frederik VI welcomes you. Temple of Apis, Porcelain garden, waterfall, Mathilde's hill... royal fantasies! Tall oaks and elm trees protect the promenades leading to the small lake. On the island: a Chinese pavilion. Possibility to take a boat trip. The oarsman would be a descendant of the one who brought the king back from the war. Hence this very royal privilege!
