It is already 20 years since Throvaldsens Antique market became the favourite market of the Copenhaguen people in their treasure hunt for old objects. Golden location on the banks of one of the old canals near Christianborg Palace and the Thorvaldsen Museum. Stands run by a group of antique dealers, which means that you can hunt for a good number of quality objects, far from the usual garage sale style unpacking. Antiques, retro objects, vintage, danish porcelain, ceramics, design objects...

A shop which will make the happiness of the amateurs of navigation but not only. Here you will find all the objects you need to refine the seaside or more precisely "port life"! decoration of your home. Models of ships in bottles, bags and canteens for sailors, rudders, diving helmets, lamps... In short, a bric-a-brac that will awaken the sailor's soul that lies dormant in every landlubber. But also stop by for the specific clothing lines such as the superb Andersen Andersen sweaters or the colorful Stutterheim oilskins.

Several Sundays a year, Ravnsborggade, Ravnsborg Tvaergade and Sankt Hans turn into a giant unpacking area, where everyone comes to rummage around... and hopes to find the rare piece among antiques, designer furniture, rare objects, and much more since the space is also open as a garage sale for private individuals. Very good spirit in these streets located on the lakeside, perfect for a stroll also if you are not a china lover because these days, all the cafes, shops, galleries and businesses in the area remain open.

A Saturday morning must-see is the Frederiksberg Loppetorv flea market. The items offered tend to be of quality but at reasonable prices. Food stalls and beer tents are also on hand, so you can enjoy a Danish hot dog and a glass of bitter "Gammel Dansk" during your walk. The oldest flea market in the country, it invites you to go hunting in a relaxed atmosphere, among antiques, furniture and quality items.
